ViewSonic 2023 Digital Graphic Creation Competition: Reviving the Classic Charm of Xuan-Yuan Sword

為鼓勵全國電繪好手發揮創意、精彩創作，ViewSonic攜手大宇資訊利用旗下經典遊戲《軒轅劍》的人物角色發揮創作力。《軒轅劍》身為經典中文武俠RPG遊戲，更是華人世界公認最經典的角色扮演遊戲之一。相信遊戲的仙俠山水意境與角色輪廓細節，能夠幫助創作者發揮電繪技巧及創作能力，也希望藉由競賽，可以看到蘊含豐富靈感與繪製手法的絕佳作品。

為選出最令人期待的作品，ViewSonic特別邀請龍族數位創辦人駿恆繪製活動宣傳視覺並且擔任評審，同時加入出身漫畫家且熱愛電玩的職業電繪名家VOFAN、大宇資訊軒轅劍製作人李俊岡、聯成電腦專任講師柯光曜、巨匠電腦專任講師小思與ViewSonic全球行銷部門創意總監Patricia Ting擔任評審。

ViewSonic致力為創作生態系打造一站式軟硬體解決方案，相信融合《軒轅劍》遊戲的經典風采，可以成為數位創作者或網路漫畫家的夢想孵化器，為台灣電繪創作界激盪出創新火花。

To encourage digital drawing talents nationwide to unleash their creativity and produce splendid works, ViewSonic has joined forces with SOFTSTAR Entertainment to harness the creative power of characters from their classic game “Xuan-Yuan Sword.” As a quintessential Chinese martial arts RPG game, “Xuan-Yuan Sword” is widely recognized as one of the most iconic role-playing games in the Chinese-speaking world. It is believed that the game’s imagery of immortal landscapes and intricate character details will assist creators in showcasing their digital drawing skills and creative abilities. Through this competition, the aim is to discover exceptional works that are brimming with rich inspiration and artistic techniques.

To select the most highly anticipated pieces, ViewSonic has specially invited Dragon-art‘s founder Antilous to create promotional key visuals for the event and serve as a judge. They are joining as judges are also VOFAN, a professional digital illustrator with a background in manga and a passion for gaming, Dash, the producer of Xuan-Yuan Sword at SOFTSTAR Entertainment, Yao Ko and SuePin, a dedicated lecturer at Lccnet and Pcschool, and Patricia Ting, the Creative Director of the Global Marketing Department at ViewSonic.

ViewSonic is committed to creating an all-encompassing software and hardware solution for the creative ecosystem. With the incorporation of the classic essence of the "Xuan-Yuan Sword" game, it is believed that this competition can become a dream incubator for digital creators and webcomic artists, sparking innovative ideas within Taiwan's digital drawing and creative community.

創作主題 / Theme

RISE

＂RISE＂有躍升、崛起之意，更是一個與轉變和個人成長相關的動詞。它可以代表個人有可能隨著時間的推移而進化和改變，並且這種轉變過程可以帶來更大的成就感和生活中的成功。而通過“Rise”這一主題，我們希望激發創意人士體會科技技術的進步是如何改變我們看待和體驗這個世界。讓我們一起崛起，用繪圖藝術的力量創造一個更美好的世界。

“RISE” represents the idea that individuals have the potential to evolve and change over time, and this process of transformation can lead to greater fulfillment and success in life.

得獎名單公布 / Winners Announce

1.佳作得獎名單排名不分先後。

2.得獎名單將於112年11月20日(一)於官網公布，敬請留意您的電子信箱，得獎通知將會陸續發送，請儘速填寫回傳相關資訊，以利後續得獎事宜。

3.得獎者應於112年12月04日(一)前，回覆並提供要求之完整領獎文件，配合完成各項獎項領取，逾期視為放棄得獎資格，且不再進行獲獎名單遞補。

競賽方式 / Categories

以軒轅劍角色主體為創作，神獸和武器可作為角色搭配，設計出富有魅力的人型和世界觀。

<職業組>：以海報或插畫競賽

<學生組>：以角色立繪競賽

<職業組>和<學生組>分別由參賽報名者中，各選出50名入圍該組。各組決選由該組上述50名入圍者中選出該組前33名，分別為該組第一、二、三名及三十位佳作。

By using the “Xuan-Yuan Sword” as the creative idea, participants can incorporate divine beasts and weapons as character complements, crafting charismatic humanoid figures and worldviews.

< Professionals >: Should submit posters or illustrations.

< Students >: Should submit a full-body standing drawing of the character

50 shortlist will be selected from the registered participants for each category. The finalist will select 30 honorable mentions from the shortlist and the top three winners in each group.

參賽條款與條件 / Terms and Conditions

不符報名條件的作品、不符主題的作品、被ViewSonic主辦方判斷為不適當的作品，或符合下述情形的作品，將不列入評審範圍。發生作品無法列入評審範圍的狀況時不會進行個別通知。

*使用有明顯宗教意象的符號或既有的象徵。（例如十字架、卍字…等）

*因歧視、誹謗、中傷或冒瀆等造成精神負擔、經濟損害，帶來不利影響者

*違反隱私權保護政策者

*包含生殖器官和不正當性行為，或是易使人聯想到此類描寫者，明顯與性有關以及內容猥褻者

*涉及童妓、兒童色情或虐童者

*未尊重宗教、政治、種族、信仰、職業和性別自由，或將上述思想強加於人、助長相關紛爭者

*犯罪、違反法令和公共秩序與善良風俗者，以及將前述項目正當化者

*包含二次創作、現存人物角色・商品・品牌等者

*臨摹或複寫或抄襲其他人製作的插圖・照片・影像等作品者或侵犯任何第三人之智慧財產權者

*使用AI（人工智慧）製作的插圖

*為社會一般大眾與閱聽人帶來不快或厭惡感者

不符合本競賽目的者

Works that do not meet the registration requirements, that do not align with the theme, that are deemed inappropriate by the ViewSonic, or that fall under the following circumstances will not be considered for judging. In cases where a work cannot be included in the judging process, individual notifications will not be sent.

•Use of symbols or existing representations with significant religious connotations. (For example, crosses, swastikas, etc.)

•Causing mental distress, economic harm, or negative impact due to discrimination, slander, defamation, or blasphemy.

•Violation of privacy protection policies.

•Inclusion of genitalia, inappropriate sexual behavior, or content that is suggestive of such, overtly sexual, or obscene in nature.

•Involvement with child prostitution, child pornography, or child abuse.

•Lack of respect for religious, political, racial, belief, occupational, and gender freedoms, or imposition of such ideas onto others, promoting related disputes.

•Criminal activity, violation of laws and public order, indecency, as well as justifying the aforementioned.

•Inclusion of fan art, existing character roles, products, brands, etc.

•Copying, replicating, or imitating illustrations, photos, images, or any works created by others, or infringing upon any third party's intellectual property rights.

•Illustrations created using AI (Artificial Intelligence).

•Bringing discomfort or disgust to the general public and viewers.

Works that do not align with the purpose of this competition will not be considered.
